The proposed 6000 acre Deeside enterprise zone could generate over 7 000 new jobs from advanced manufacturers such as Airbus and Toyota. Space Northwest, a joint venture between Ashtenne Industrial Fund and the Northwest Regional Development Agency, is finding its schedule of NWDA disposals a slow process half way through its lifespan. Cheshire East Council produced in March a development prospectus for the rail town. Cheshire West and Chester Council may develop two large retail schemes in chester and Northwich. Poor office take-up figures on Liverpool's waterfront might suggest that they are ripe for conversion.
