Examines the National Policy Planning Framework (NPPF) which replaced numerous Planning Policy Guidance, Planning Policy Statements, Circular and other guidance listed in Annexe 3 of the NPPF. Local planning authorities have to take the NPPF into account when preparing local and neighbourhood plans and it is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications.
