Most investors currently targeting Belgium are concentrating on retail assets. Euros 548m was spent on Belgian real estate in Q1 2012 with 53% of the total investment volume within the retail sector. Luxembourg's small property market focuses mainly on the office sector with Q1 2012 take-up decreasing slightly and vacancy rates dropping to 5.9%. Although the number of office deals has risen in the Netherlands market, the recession-driven crisis is not yet over.
