Although the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 does not primarily affect the property industry there are four areas of the Act that need to be noted; wheel clamping on private land and parking charges, regulation of CCTV and other surveillance camera technology, powers of entry onto property and the repeal of section 8(2) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
