Assesses the success of the Energy Company Oblgation (ECO) scheme set up to improving the energy efficiency of homes in the UK through measures funded by the large energy suppliers such as cavity wall installation and replacing boilers with more energy efficiency ones. There are two ECO programmes, ECO1 which ran from Jan 2013 and March 2015 and the second from April 2015 to March 2017. With the ECO ending in 2017 assesses the future for improving energy efficiency of UK social housing stock.
