This Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors Building Cost Index shows long-term fluctuations in general building costs in the various capital cities across Australia. The figures do not represent any specific type of project, nor are they likely to be indicative of very large or very small projects. The most recent index figures are based on the results from the BRIX surveys.
