In "Crown Estate Commissioners v Town Investments Ltd and National Westminster Bank Ltd", HC 26 November 1991, a preliminary issue was considered with regard to whether the Crown Estate was entitled to £250,000 in relation to dilapidations when parts of the building had been sub-let by the tenant of full repairing leases.
