Horbury v Craig Hall & Rutley HC 24 May 1991 involved a claim for professional negligence in respect of a structural survey carried out of a house in October 1980. Although the defendant surveyor was found to be guilty of negligence, the claim was statute-barred because the writ was not issued until February 1988.
