Following a challenge by the Shetland Salmon Farmers Association in the Court of Session over the validity of the ownership of sea beds around the Shetland Islands , which found in favour of the Crown Estate , the Commissioners are still locked in battle with the fish farmers over the 1987 fish farm rents . The Lerwick Harbour Trust also wants to buy land around the harbour but the Crown Estate refuses to sell.
