The report shows that there are some real success stories in the farmed environment, and good signs in the recovery of some species of farmland wildlife and the amount of greenhouse gases released by farming has been decreasing. While progress has been made there are many other issues where more needs to be done. These include diffuse water pollution, the decline of some farmland wildlife, managing the impacts of climate change and flood risk.
