520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. In the third stage of its housing law reform programme (see also L138746 and L133508) the Law Commission considers how the management of rental property within the private rented sector can be improved. The consultation focuses on the issues of repair and maintenance of the property and harassment and unlawful eviction. It proposes that there should be a scheme of enforced self-regulation based on a partnership between parties representing landlords and their agents and government. Consultation responses required by 12 October 2007.
