Summary, etc. Reveals a slight increase in the workload of small and medium sized building firms in the third quarter 2007, when compared to the same period in 2006 and 2005. However, results for different types of work are mixed. The strongest results were for new construction and improvement of industrial and commercial buildings, with relatively weak results for private housing new build. The growth in overall workload was accompanied by an increase in employment, which is likely to continue in the fourth quarter.
