| Summary, etc. | William N. Kinnard, Jr. was a leading real estate researcher, teacher and practitioner. Contains essays written in his honour, reprints of some of his classic articles, and personal reflections from former students, colleagues and friends. The first section of the book contains seven original essays, arranged chronologically according to William N. Kinnard's professional career. These essays cover valuation theory, definition of market value, market analysis, the appraisal process, role of the appraiser as an expert witness, valuation under environmental contamination, and international real estate issues. The second section of the book reprints eleven of his most influential papers to demonstrate his contribution to real estate theory and practice. The last section contains personal reflections. |
