Summary, etc. Reports that the IPD Monthly Index shows continuing slowdown in rental growth across the commercial property sector. Year-on-year growth fell to 2.5% in May, down from 2.9% in April, continuing the a marked slowdown of recent months. All Property rents have had zero growth between the end of March and the end of May, and are only 0.6% higher than six months ago. The swift downturn in the central London office market is notable. Rents continue to rise in the retail sector, albeit at a weaker and slower rate.
