Summary, etc. This instrument makes amendments to the Town and Country Planning (Trees) Regulations 1999 and comes into force 1 October 2008. It allows for the use of a standard application form for applications for consent for a tree preservation order. It also substitutes a new part four of the 1999 regulations to provide new regulations for appeals without a hearing under S78 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
