Summary, etc. Act sets a target for the reduction of targeted greenhouse emissions, to be reached by 2050. Also allows for a system of carbon budgeting and the establishment of a Committee for Climate Change and schemes to allow for the trading of carbon allowances. The Act also makes provisions about adaptation to climate change and allows for financial incentives to reduce domestic waste and increase domestic recycling.
