520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Provides a new, updated set of valuation standards (also known as the 'Blue Book') to ensure valuations which are consistent across Europe and whose quality can be relied upon as a common benchmark for the financial industry and clients across the European Union (EU). By embedding the concept of best practice throughout, emphasises the importance of ethical behaviour and demonstrating transparency of the instruction from inception through to completion. Acknowledging developments in International Valuation Standards 2005 and 2007, uses definitions that are in common with International Valuation Standards and that are in accord with EU Directives, specifically the definition of market value. Does not address any country specific issues or valuation methodology.
