Summary, etc. "Havenridge Ltd v Boston Dyers Ltd" CA 11 March 1994. At issue was whether the landlord was `properly` exercising a right to demand payment to meet an insuring obligation in the lease. The lease term `Properly` was taken to mean `legitimately` and despite the high figure in dispute, the claim was judged to have been served correctly. Decision upheld on appeal.
