Summary, etc. The Reservoirs (Scotland) Bill is an attempt to create a legal and administrative framework for the construction and management of controlled reservoirs in order to reduce the risk of an uncontrolled release of water and minimise the results of any subsequent flooding. Also allows for the repeal and replacement of the Reservoirs Act 1975.
