An updated practice note to accompany the 2010 HomeBuyer Report. The 4th edition of the practice notes includes: the practice notes; the report documentation, including information on choosing between surveys, a description of the RICS HomeBuyer Report Service and Standard Terms of Engagement, and leasehold properties advice; and the report form and checklists. Under the terms of UK Practice statement (UKPS) 4.1 in the 6th edition of the RICS Valuation Standards (the "Red Book"), surveyors accepting instructions to provide reports under the RICS HomeBuyer Service must comply with the conditions set out in this practice note. The practice notes is written to reflect the property law in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. |
