Summary, etc. UK house prices decreased by 0.3% since November 2010 with no increase or decrease since October 2011. The mix-adjusted average house price was £205 796 in November 2011 (not seasonally adjusted). UK house prices increased by 0.2% in the quarter ending November 2011 with no change in the quarter ending August 2011(seasonally adjusted). Annual average house prices fell by 0.1%% in England, 0.8% in Scotland, 1.6% in Wales and 11.7% in Northern Ireland. Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in November were 0.7% higher than a year ago. Average house prices paid by former owner occupiers decreased by 0.7%. Annual average house prices paid for new properties in November 2011 were 7.7% higher than a year ago. By comparison average house prices paid on pre-owned dwellings were 0.9% lower.
