520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Provides current occupancy benchmarks for two different types of office. It shows the projected annual occupancy costs for two projects, which should provide a strategic benchmark for similar buildings. The data is backed up with projected annual expenditure charts and detailed estimates for individual elements and components. With the introduction of the CDM Regulations in 1994, it became necessary for the contractor to hand over to the client, on completion of the contract, a complete Health and Safety file. The file should contain full operational and maintenance instructions and procedures for all elements of the building. Using this file, it should now be simpler for building occupiers to predict the likely maintenance and occupancy costs over the life of the building. This report shows how, through the receipt of this file, or following a condition survey on an existing building, a building manager can plan for future occupancy costs.
