Summary, etc. The seasonally adjusted index for retail sales at constant 2000 prices was 1.9% higher at 120.8 (2000=100) in the three months to December than in the previous three months. Between November and December sales volume rose by 0.9%, reflecting increases in all sectors except non-store retailing and repair.
