Summary, etc. Retail warehousing was amongst the best performing commercial property sub sectors in 2003 according to FPD Savillls "Retail warehousing quarterly report February 2004". It delivered an average annual return of 15.9% on the IPD monthly index and 16.4% on the IPD annual index. Demand will outstrip supply again in 2004. Rental growth in the sector will slow to around 3.0% Per annum. Further pressure on yields will keep returns to around 10% per annum for 2004-08.
