Summary, etc. The Scottish Executive has announced an initiative to invest £20m to make hundreds of public buildings in Scotland energy efficient. The Executive aims to help save up to £70m over the next five years for spending on schools, health and other public services by spending money now on energy saving measures. The fund is worth £20m over two years and is available to all 32 Scottish local authorities.
