Summary, etc. The "CBRE monthly index" for July 2004 has been published. It shows that all-property rental growth was up for the seventh month in a row, taking growth to 1.2% in the year to date. Property was the best-performing asset class with an annual total return of 17.3% - the first time since August 2003. On the other side, following a third successive positive monthly increase in rental values, annual all-office rental decline has now eased to minus 2.1% - its lowest level since April 2002.
