"Housing and planning in the regions" can be viewed at: http://www.odpm.gov.uk/stellent/groups/odpm_housin g/documents/page/odpm_house_030962.hcsp and can be commented on until 30 November 2004. The government proposes to strengthen links between housing and planning strategies at regional level. It plans to do this by merging regional housing boards with regional planning bodies, to bolster its commitment to create thriving and sustainable communities in all regions.
