Summary, etc. The latest "Estate benchmarking survey: 2004" has been published by FPDSavills on its website. The survey collects data from over 700 000 acres of lowland Britain, including 3 000 farms, 8 000 houses and over 600 000 sq ft of office, industrial and retail workspace. In the year to April 2004 average gross income on all estates rose by 5.7% to £125 per acre.
