Summary, etc. The key findings of the latest FPDSavills survey, "Commercial development activity PMI" are that total commercial activity showed a further marked improvement in September 2004. However the rate of overall expansion eased for the second successive month, primarily as a result of slower growth in private sector activity whereas public sector activity rose again for the third month. Private sector retail and leisure activity was the top performing area of commercial development, followed by private sector new build activity.
