Abstract Sets out mandatory requirements to which all condition-based residential survey services must confirm to and best practice outlining how the mandatory requirements should be met. Originally planned to be in force from 1 June 2020 but was put back due to the pandemic to a transition period of 1 March 2021 to 31 August 2021. Notes that some elements of the professional statement do not apply to the Home Report in Scotland but will apply to all other condition-based residential services offered by RICS professionals and regulated firms in Scotland.
