Summary, etc. LT 5 January 1987 (LVC/281/1986) Appeal by ratepayer from lvc decision determining the assessment of a house , garage and swimming pool at £646 gv, £510 rv. Appeal concerned the amount of the deduction to be made from the otherwise gv because the subject house is close to a former tip from which methane gas now escapes. LT held that a deduction by the VO amounting to a little over 17.5% of gv was sufficient and the appeal was dismissed.
