Summary, etc. "Graysim Holdings Ltd v P&O Property Holdings Ltd" CA 17 February 1994. Raised the question of whether a market operator who let out stalls inside a covered hall granting sub-tenancies of the fitted stalls to market traders was protected by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 Part II. Held that market trader occupied the premises under s23(1) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and as a protected tenant was entitled to be granted a new tenancy. ChD decision reversed. Appeal allowed.
