Development is now proceeding apace at the airport and Manchester Business Park, whilst rents are being slashed at oversupplied Salford Quays and south Manchester. Future plans too are ambitious, with a bid to host the Olympic Games, a proposed business park and the possibility of a large retail shopping redevelopment.
