"Norglen Ltd v Reeds Rains Prudential Ltd and others" ChD 7 February 1994 involved a claim for damages by original owner of a plot of land sold to a development company for being deprived of development value. The defendant`s appeal against the amount specified by the High Court for security of costs against plaintiff company under Companies Act 1985 s726 was allowed. The substitution application for directors and shareholders of the plaintiff company after it was compulsorily wound up was dismissed. |
