Brokers (A) applied on behalf of X to the plaintiff (F) for a loan to finance a redevelopment scheme. A valued the property and the loan was advanced to X. X was unable to repay the loan and the property was sold at a lower price. F claimed valuation was negligently high and therefore entitled to claim the shortfall from A and X. A alleged F contributorily negligent. Judgment for the defendants. |
