Summary, etc. Results of a survey conducted by NSM Research for Contract Journal with one hundred industry leaders who attended the government-sponsored seminar to launch the Egan initiative. Overall, 90% are convinced that Egan will make a lasting difference, though less than four out of ten believe it will radically change the industry. However the companies have drawn up Egan strategies, are benchmarking performance, and prioritisation of issues such as safety is evident.
