Summary, etc. CA 13 May 1999. The defendant (HZ) occupied a flat owned by the claimant (DM) under an assured shorthold tenancy. DM brought proceedings against HZ for arrears of rent and possession. The county court judge had decided that the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 S48 (relating to the serving of a notice with an address at which notices may be served) had been satisfied and that it was reasonable to make an order for possession. HZ appealed. "Held" appeal dismissed.
