Summary, etc. HL 24 June 1999. County Council held a non-statutory public inquiry to determine whether a glebe could be registered as a village green under the Commons Registration Act 1965 s13. Inspector concluded that inhabitants had used the land for lawful sports and pastimes for not less than 20 years but that the application should be refused as the use had not been shown to be 'as of right'.
