| Summary, etc. | Chd 16 December 1998. By a written agreement, C occupied a floor in the defendant's premises for a licence fee and subject to other terms. There were negotiations between the parties for the grant of a lease but no agreement was reached. When S purported to terminate the original agreement, C commenced proceedings claiming a tenancy protected by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 Part II and applied for interlocutory relief on the grounds that it had been in occupation for more than 12 months. Held the motion was dismissed. |
