Considers that the housing transfer programme has been a success with more than 400,000 properties transferred to date. Many tenants have benefitted and are satiisfied with the service they receive from their new landlord, says new research from DTZ Pieda Consulting "Views on the Large Scale Voluntary Transfer process" for the DETR £20. Further research is exploring the role of the independent tenant adviser and another programme will look at the efficiency and effectiveness of the transfer process.
