Summary, etc. The SCPS for 2001 will open on 7 July 2001. The only change to last year's scheme is the introduction of modulation; a reduction which will be made to payments under the main CAP schemes in order to fund the England Rural Development Programme. Suckler cow producers in England will also be able to notify transfers and leases of quotas to cover claims under the 2001 Suckler Cow Premium Scheme, from 19 June to 6 December 2001. The scheme opens for claims on 1 July.
