Summary, etc. Two recent events illustrate the rapid growth and increasing influence of the surveying profession outside the UK. Last week a dinner for 250 chartered surveyors and guests was held in Paris, which saw 29 new RICS members receive their diplomas. In November, RICS president Peter Faulkner hosted a meeting in Paris of organisations representing 10,000 French property professionals.
