Cites recent "Horsnell & Horsnell v Amos" where claimants argued they would not have bought a property if they had known of the presence of a badger sett, and that it had affected the value of the property. Court found that the value was not diminished, but that respondent was negligent in not noticing the sett, and ordered payment of £750. Concludes that low damages amount indicated that surveyors need not worry too much about missing a sett, as it could be regarded as an asset as well as a nuisance.
