520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Examines the management of environmental due diligence programmes on multi-jurisdiction deals - that is deals which are multi-asset and cover more than one country. A project manager will need a strategy that covers the four main issues: access to and management of information, communication, knowledge and having an effective client interface. In considering the information required a project manager will have to consider that foreign countries have differing environmental laws and standards. All members of the deal team must understand what is being compared and have knowledge not only of local laws but also the cultural and political nature of the country or region where the transaction is being carried out. The client interface needs to be scheduled properly to allow time to deal with problem issues.
