Summary, etc. The first round of community-based renewable energy projects to receive funding under the Clear Skies programme include solar water heating for converted homeless housing, a rural pilot to provide heating for bungalows for the elderly and a wind turbine built from sustainable materials for a primary school. A total of 22 projects will share over £500 000.
