Considers an appeal against an order made in ([2005] EWHC 1382 (Ch), (2005) NPC 87) concerning a breach of duty action brought against Linklaters law firm that was ruled out of time. Linklaters did not dispute that it failed to advise 3M of a loss in break rights on leases following 3M's corporate restructuring. "Held": Appeal dismissed. 3M had issued proceedings three years and two days after becoming aware of the mistake - the relevant statutory limitation period was three years. (See also L130486.)
