Attenuation systems are a technique under the strategy of SUDS and are designed to manage peak storm water flow rates by storing excess flow on site and then releasing it at a specified reduced flow rate after the storm. Considers regulatory requirements, the next generation of attenuation systems, recycling attenuated water, and specifying attenuation systems.
