There was also a slight fall in net reservations for the first time since January. However these trends appear exaggerated due to the strength of reservations in May 2006. The rate of increase of new home prices eased somewhat. House builders were found to be making greater use of incentives. Industry optimism over sales growth in 2007 eased in response to these trends.
