"Boots Uk Ltd v Trafford Centre Ltd" (L146772) deals with the question of whether costs incurred by landlord for Christmas marketing activities such as a Santa's grotto and Christmas decoration fell within the definition of promotional costs. "Leonora Investment Co Ltd v Mott MacDonald Ltd" (L145457) reminds landlords of the importance of following procedural requirements in a lease for recovering service charges.
