Questions whether Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995 precludes a person who has guaranteed a tenant's obligations under a lease from being required to give a further guarantee in respect of an assignee of the lease. Claimant landlord G's application to recover unpaid rent from C persuant to an authorised guarantee agreement was contested by G on the grounds that the agreement was null and void and unforceable by reasons of s25 and s24 of the 1995 Act. Application dismissed.
